These vacancies are part of the 13th NCA (No Candidate Available) notification due to a lack of qualified candidates in previous recruitment attempts dating back to 2008.

3. Scale of Pay

  • ₹ 45,600 – ₹ 95,600/-

4. Method of Appointment

  • Direct Recruitment: Reserved exclusively for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
    • Note: If there are no qualified SC candidates, ST candidates will be considered, and vice versa. Separate applications are required for each category.

5. Age Limit

  • Eligibility: Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (20-45 years inclusive).
  • Relaxation of the age limit is applicable as per the general conditions outlined in the notification.

6. Educational Qualifications

  • Essential:
    1. A Master’s Degree in Arabic with at least 45% marks from a recognized university in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.
    2. B.Ed in Arabic from a recognized university.
      • If no candidates with a B.Ed in Arabic are available, candidates with:
        • A B.Ed in the Arabic faculty, or
        • A B.Ed in any subject will be considered.
    3. State Eligibility Test (SET) qualification for Higher Secondary Teachers conducted by the Kerala Government.
  • Exemptions from SET:
    • Candidates with Ph.D./M.Phil./M.Ed in the relevant subject.
    • Candidates who have completed 10 years of teaching experience in high schools.
    • Those who have cleared NET/JRF or SLET.
  • Additional Considerations:
    • Candidates with Ph.D., M.Phil., or Post-Doctoral Fellowships in the relevant field will receive weightage marks during ranking.
