In continuation to the advertisement notice No.JIP/Admn.I/AP(Contract)/01/2018 dated 21.05.2020 & addendum dt. 30.05.2020 published in the JIPMER website for recruitment of Assistant Professor on contract basis for various departments at JIPMER, Puducherry, the following faculty post on contract basis is said to be recruited in addition to the post given earlier in the advertisement.

Post Name: Assistant Professor – 01
- Department: Emergency Medical Services Department (EMSD)
- Essential Qualification:
a. A Medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.)
b. A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Emergency Medicine or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject.
- Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Emergency Medicine after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Emergency Medicine or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
- Salary: Rs.1,01,500/- per month (Consolidated)
Post Name: Assistant Professor – 03
Department: Anaesthesiology
Essential Qualification:
- A Medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.)
- A Postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject.
- Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anaesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
- Salary: ₹1,01,500/- per month (Consolidated)
Age: Not Exceeding 50 Years as on Closing date
How to Apply:
The Last Date for receipt of filled-in application for all the departments mentioned in the original advt. and the earlier addendum is further extended up to 13th July 2020 (Monday) upto 4.30 PM. This closing date will be considered as cut-off date for computing the upper age and experience.
