Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- PhD in the relevant discipline with a First Class (≥60%) Master’s degree or equivalent CGPA.
Experience & Research Record:
- At least 3 years of post‑PhD teaching, research, or industry experience (excluding PhD duration).
- Publications: Minimum 6 first‑author Q1 journal articles (4 for Mathematics, Statistics & Computational Sciences departments).

Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics & Statistics, Computational & Data Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences (Economics).
Compensation & Benefits
- Academic Pay Level 12: ₹1,01,500 per month (initial)
Promotion to Level 13A1 (₹1,31,400/month) possible after 3 years subject to performance.

- CPDA ₹3 lakh over 3 years for conferences, memberships, books
- Relocation allowances, medical reimbursement, research support grants, etc.
Reservation & Certification Guidelines
- Reservation aligns with the central government roster for SC, ST, and OBC‑NCL categories.
- OBC‑NCL candidates must submit valid non‑creamy‑layer certificates dated after 1 April 2025.
- PwBD Candidates with ≥40% disability are eligible for reservation and relaxations.
- Candidates must provide certificates in Government of India–prescribed formats.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting by Departmental Faculty Advisory Committee (DFAC) based on academic and research qualifications.
- Presentation / Seminar: Selected candidates invited to departmental research presentation.
- Interview: Final selection by Institute Faculty Advisory Committee (IFAC) after performance evaluation.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stages via email.
