IGIMS announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed BDS, Master of Dental Surgery for the position of Assistant Professor.
Applications are invited in prescribed Preform from eligible Indian citizen for Appointment on the following posts in different departments of Institute and Medical College:
1. Post & No. of Vacancy:– Assistant Professor 01 (One)
2. Name of Department:– Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery
3. Pay Scale:– PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100+GP Rs.8000+NPA- (Plus NPA for Medically Qualified candidates only) With provision to move to PB-4 after 03 (Three) years (Rs 37400-6700) with Grade- Pay RS 8700/-
4. Qualification:-
- A Graduate Dental Qualification e.g. BDS included in Part-I of Dentist Act, 1948
- ii) A Postgraduate qualification, e.g. M.D.S. in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
- iii) Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
5. Desirable: Fellowship in cleft and Craniofacial Surgery.

Terms & Conditions For Engagement Of Retired Faculty On Contract For The Post Of Professor Consultant Biochemistry Eligibility Age Lump Sum Remuneration:-
- Retired Faculty at the level of Professor at IGIMS up to the Age of 70 years on contract basis from retired professor of own Institute (IGIMS) or from Institute of National Importance & Government Medical College as notified by Ministry of Health & Family welfare, Dept. of Health & family Welfare, New Delhi for AllMS Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur, Bhubaneswar, and Bhopal, Lt.no.-Z-28016/195/2017-PMSSY-IV, dt-16th Nov 2017.
- The retired faculty to be taken on contract would be termed as Professor/(ConsuItant).
- Lump sum / consolidated remuneration for retired Faculty Consultant:- Rs.2,20,000/month
- Retired faculty consultant in the event of being provided campus accommodation/ guest house facilities, applicable deduction in respect of such accommodation would be from above remuneration Rs. 24000/month.
- Participation of retired Faculty in National Seminars/Conference would be permissible as per Institute rules with admissible TA/DA.
- Other terms & condition shall be as per IGIMS approved Terms in this regard.
