About the Institution
Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering & Technology, under MRSPTU Bathinda, is Punjab’s first state-established engineering institution. Founded in 1989 by the then Governor of Punjab, Sh. S. S. Ray, the college initially functioned as a Government Engineering College before becoming an autonomous institute under a dedicated Board of Governors (BOG) in 1992. In 2011, it became a campus of Punjab Technical University, continuing its mission of providing high-quality technical education.
