Originally founded in 1961 as the Regional Engineering College (REC), the institute was elevated to NIT status in 2002. Project Title: A Study on Compactly Supported, Symmetric, and Orthogonal Multiwavelets using Matrix Polynomial Theory
Qualifications
Essential:
-
Master’s degree (M.Sc./MS or equivalent) in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks (CGPA 6.0/10).

Qualified in CSIR-UGC JRF/NET or GATE.
-
Proficiency in MATLAB/Python and LaTeX.
-
Strong background in Linear Algebra, Matrix Theory, Functional Analysis, Real Analysis, and Fourier Analysis.

Excellent communication and writing skills.
Desirable:
-
M.Phil. in a related field.
-
Basic understanding of Wavelet Theory.
Salary
₹37,000 per month + 16% HRA
