🧾 Eligibility Criteria
For Prakrit / Ardhamagadhi

Master’s Degree in Prakrit, Ardhamagadhi, or Prakrit and Jain Studies (or equivalent) from a recognized university with at least 55% marks.

Must have qualified NET/SET/SLET conducted by UGC/CSIR, or hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure) Regulations 2009/2016.

Candidates holding a Ph.D. as per UGC norms are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
For Jain Philosophy

Master’s Degree in Jain Philosophy, Indian Philosophy, Comparative Philosophy, or a related subject with at least 55% marks.

Must have cleared UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/SLET/SET, or possess a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations (2009/2016).

Ph.D. holders in accordance with UGC rules are exempted from the eligibility tests.
