The Central Board of Secondary Education has extended the last date to apply for CBSE CTET 2021 by releasing a notification on its official website. Candidates who have not applied for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test can apply online through the official site of CBSE CTET at ctet.nic.in latest by 25 October. At the same time, the last date for fee submission is 26 October 2021 till 3.30 pm. According to the notification, CBSE has recently set up an examination center for CTET at Leh, due to which it has been decided to extend the last date of application.
General/OBC category candidates need to pay Rs 1000 as application fee for Paper I and II only and Rs 1200 for both the papers. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Diff have to pay Rs 500 as application fee for Paper I or II only and Rs 600 for both Paper I and II.
How to apply online for CBSE CTET 2021:
Visit the official website – https://ctet.nic.in.
Click on the link “Apply Online”.
Fill the online application form and note down the registration number / application number.
Upload the scanned images of latest photograph and signature.
Pay the Examination Fee Through E-Challan or Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking.
Take a print out of the confirmation page for record and future reference.
Important Information:
Note that once the examination fee is deposited, the candidate’s details cannot be changed/edited. Thereafter amendment in details can be done online only from 28th October to 3rd November, 2021 and no request for change in details will be entertained under any circumstances. The exam will be conducted on CBT mode from 16 December to 13 January 2022. The admit card will be available for all the candidates in due course on the official website.
