The deadline for applying to the DEE Assam teacher recruitment-2024 is February 2, 2024. The vacancies consist of 1,750 positions for Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, and Hindi Teacher in Upper Primary schools, and 3,800 vacancies for the Assistant Teacher post in Lower Primary school. - The exam is based on the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) qualification and the academic merit of the candidates.
- The exam has no written test or interview. The candidates are selected on the basis of their marks obtained in the TET/CTET and the percentage of marks in the HSSLC or Graduation examination.
- The candidates have to apply online through the official website, dee.assam.gov.in, before the deadline of February 2, 2024.
The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 200 for general category and Rs. 150 for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD category through online mode. - The candidates have to upload their scanned documents such as passport size photograph, signature, TET/CTET certificate, academic certificates, caste certificate, disability certificate, etc. while applying online.
- The candidates have to verify their documents at the respective district level verification centres after the publication of the provisional merit list.
- The candidates have to choose their preferred district and school for posting through an online portal after the final merit list is declared.
