Educational Qualification for Bihar STET Paper-I
- Ideally, Candidates must hold a B.Ed degree from a recognized university/institute. In addition, he/she must have a bachelors’ degree or equivalent in the respective subject for which he/she is applying. The Paper-I subjects are – Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social science.
- For Science Stream, a Bachelor’s degree in botany, zoology or chemistry with B.Ed/B.Tech and B.Ed degrees are acceptable.
- Similarly, for Social Science, a graduation degree in any of the subjects – History, Geography, Economics or Political Science (studying History or Geography is compulsory) and B.Ed degree.
