Applications are invited from the eligible and academically bright candidates with a flair for teaching engineering students, for engagement as Assistant Professor on contract purely on temporary basis with consolidated salary.

4. Minimum Qualification:
a) M. Sc. OR Integrated M. Sc. (Mathematics) with 60% or 6.75 CGPA and Ph. D in preferred area of specialization
b) B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech/M.S Both degrees in Metallurgy/ Metallurgical and Materials Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Production and Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Foundry and Forge Technology with 60% or 6.75 CGPA Ph.D. in preferred area of specialization is desirable
c) B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech/M.S Both degrees in Metallurgical Engineering / Materials and Metallurgical Engineering with 60% or 6.75 CGPA Ph.D. in preferred area of specialization is desirable
d) M.Sc. in Mathematics/ Statistics OR M. Stat. with 60% or 6.75 CGPA and Ph. D in preferred area of specialization along with formal course work in Statistics and Probability
e) B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech/M.S Both degrees in Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics and Communications Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with 60% or 6.75 CGPA Ph.D. in preferred area of specialization is desirable

General Information:
1. Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or not to select any candidate without assigning any reason.
2. Appointment will be given initially for 01Year which may be extended for 2nd and / or 3 rd year (s) subject to requirement of position and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
3. This recruitment is a stop gap arrangement purely on temporary basis and Contractual Faculty so appointed shall have no claim for regular appointment.
4. The contract may be terminated at any time by either side by giving one month notice to the other side.

6.The offer of appointment to the Post of Assistant Professor on Contract purely Temporary Basis will be provisional subject to verification of the original documents at the time of joining.
