MAIDS announced job notification for the post of Assistant Professor has been released officially. Any Post Graduate pass Can apply for this job openings. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria alone can apply on the official website maids.ac.in. The application process ends on 21.01.2022.
Qualification Details:
Applications for the post of Assistant Professors to be filled on contract basis on fixed remuneration were invited by MAIDS vide Advertisements dated 10.12.2018 and dated 20.12.2019. It has been decided to fill all vacant post of Assistant Professors on regular basis.
1. Position: Assistant Professor
2. Pay Scale: Pay matrix level-11 Rs. 67,700/- to Rs. 2,08,700/- + all allowances admissible to regular employees.
3. Qualification:
(i) Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics:
(a) A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).
(b) A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.
(c) Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College.
(d) Should be registered with State Dental Council.
(ii) Dental Anatomy:
(a) A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).
(b) A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral Pathology.
(c) Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College.
(d) Should be registered with State Dental Council.
(iii) Forensic Odontology:
(a) A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).
(b) A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral Pathology with full time regular Diploma/Degree in Forensic Odontology/Forensic Sciences from a recognised institution of repute after MDS in Oral Pathology. or MSc. in Forensic Odontology from a recognized University after BDS.
(c) Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality in a Dental College.
(d) Should be registered with State Dental Council.
(iv) Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery:
(a) A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).
(b) A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
(c) Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College.
(d) Should be registered with State Dental Council.

Important Note
1. OBC certificate should be issued from Govt. of NCT of Delhi as “OBC (Delhi)”. OBC Certificate issued from any state other than Delhi or certificate issued from Govt. NCT of Delhi but on behalf of any other state will not be considered. General are not eligible to apply against Reserve category post.
2. Candidate shall be appointed as & when the vacancy actually arises. Post of Assistant Professor (Dental Anatomy) and Assistant Professor (Forensic Odontology) are for Phase- II project of MAIDS and will be filled on taking over of Phase – II project by MAIDS.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for written test and interview.

Selection Procedure :
The selection will be made through written screening test which would be qualifying only, followed by interview (Only those candidates who qualify the written screening test, will be called for interview) (Qualifying Marks For Written Test For General Candiates – 50% And OBC Candiates – 45%). However, out of the maximum number of qualified candidates in written screening test who shall be called for interview shall not be more than 3 times the number of vacancies.

Complete application in the prescribed format along with all relevant self attested documents and fee must reach on or before 21.01.2022 up to 4.00 P.M. in an envelope super-scribed in bold letters “Application for recruitment of to the post of Assistant Professor (name of specialty to be filled by candidate) directly or by post, addressed to “The Director-Principal, Room No.116, 1st Floor of Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-110002”. MAIDS shall not be responsible for delay in receipt of application by postal authorities or by the Courier Company. Therefore, candidate should plan accordingly.
2. Documents to be attached: Self attested copies of certificates in support of age, caste, qualification, experience, state council registration and two passport size photographs, Demand Draft etc. (Research papers need not be added with application)
