Advertisement For Recruitment To The Post Of Faculty (Group A) On Direct Recruitment Basis In Various Departments Of AIIMS, Nagpur
In this regard, applications are invited by the Director, AIIMS, Nagpur from Indian nationals/persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 for the following Backlog vacancies of faculty posts for AIIMS, Nagpur:

Qualification and Experience Details:-
Essential: –
i. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.) ii. A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
ii. For Trauma & Emergency, M.D. in Emergency Medicine or MD in General Medicine or MS in General Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for Superspeciality disciplines:
1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
2. D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience:-
i. One-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years after MD/MS or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
ii. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M./M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
7. Pay Scale: Level-12, (101500-167400) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
Qualification For Associate Professor:-
Essential:-
- A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
- A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
Experience: Six years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for Superspeciality disciplines: –
1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
2. M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience:-
i,. Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. (2 years after MS or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
ii. Or Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized M.Ch. degree in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
7. Pay Scale: Level-13-A1+ (138300-209200) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
Application Fee:-
Application fee for General/OBC category Rs. 2,000/-, for SC/ST category Rs. 500/-. The Application fee is non-refundable. For PwD category application fee is exempted.
Documents Required:-

- For EWS category – Income and asset certificate as prescribed By GoI norms issued by Revenue officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.

General Conditions:-
- Applicants must fill all the details carefully since after submission of application request for change in any information at any later stage will not be considered.
- In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to fill in the form separately.
- Relaxation in age will be as per GOI rules.
- The decision of Director, AIIMS Nagpur in this regard shall be final and binding. The offer of appointment when made will be provisional and subject to verification of credentials (Educational & Personal) by competent authority. The vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The Director, AIIMS, Nagpur reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies. No correspondence whatsoever would be entertained in this regard.
- Those who are working in Central/State/Government/SemiGovernment/Autonomous Institution must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employers at the time of interview.
- Self-Attested photocopies of Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates etc. may be annexed to the printed copy of the application and the same shall be produced in original along with photocopy for verification at the time of interview.

- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
- The appointment will be subject to review and probation of two years.
- If an appointee wishes to apply somewhere else during the probation period – first 02 years of joining, then neither he/she will be issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
- The selected candidate is expected to confirm to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the institute employees.
- In case of any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has will-fully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the
