Job Summary

Aries Polytechnic College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable AEI Faculty member to teach diploma courses, handle practical sessions, and support academic growth. The selected candidate will contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, lab management, and academic quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach theory and practical courses in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation

  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, lab manuals, and assignments

  • Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions ensuring safety and discipline

  • Evaluate students via tests, viva voce, assignments, and practical assessments

  • Guide students in mini-projects, technical activities, and industrial training

  • Participate in curriculum revision and academic planning

  • Maintain attendance, assessment records, and departmental documentation

  • Assist in accreditation processes and academic audits

  • Support workshops, events, and co-curricular activities

  • Mentor, motivate, and support students’ academic and technical development

Qualification & Experience

Essential:

  • B.E./B.Tech in

    • Applied Electronics & Instrumentation

    • Electronics & Instrumentation

    • Electronics Engineering

Preferred:

  • M.E./M.Tech in a relevant specialization

  • 1–3 years of teaching experience in Polytechnic/Engineering colleges

  • Freshers with strong subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of AEI subjects, instrumentation systems, and measurement devices

  • Hands-on exposure to sensors, PLCs, microcontrollers, and electronic instruments

  • Effective teaching, communication, and presentation skills

  • Lab management and equipment maintenance skills

  • Ability to mentor and support diploma students

  • Good documentation, record-keeping, and academic reporting skills

  • Familiarity with computer applications, LMS tools, and digital teaching methods
