AIIMS Bhopal is a premier Institute of National Importance (INI) established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training. Essential Qualifications and Experience:-
The essential qualifications and experience will be determined /counted as on closing date of application i.e. on 17/08/2020 (Monday):
Professor:
- A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956
- A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
AND/OR
- M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience:-
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
OR
Twelve years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
OR
Eleven years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M/ M.Ch in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for Non-medical candidates:-
1. Post graduate qualification e.g. Master degree in the concerned discipline.
2. A doctorate degree of recognized university Experience:- Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Additional Professor:-
- A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956
- A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
Experience:-
Ten years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for super-specialty discipline:-
- Same as professor (medical)
- D.M. in the respective discipline/ subject for medical super specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience:-
Eight years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
OR
Seven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in the subject of specialty for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M./M.Ch. in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for Non- medical Candidates:-
1 & 2 are same as for Professor (Non – Medical)
Experience:- Ten years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Associate Professor:-
- A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956

Experience:-
Six years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for super-speciality disciplines:-
D.M. in the respective discipline/ subject for medical super-specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/ subject for surgical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience:-
Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

- Applications are invited from Indian Nationals and OCI in the prescribed form only through ONLINE mode. The online registration of application is made available on AIIMS Bhopal official website i.e. www.aiimsbhopal.edu.in
- The on-line filling up of application form will start on 04.07.2020 (Saturday) and close on 17.08.2020 (Monday).
- Candidates must fill in the online application form as per the procedure given in this Notice and take a printout of the same.
- Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately online for each post and pay the application fee for each post.
Instructions for filling UP the Online Application:
- For filling up of Online application, candidates must have the following prerequisites ready:Valid e-mail ID & Mobile number.Scanned Passport size photograph of the candidate (in JPG format).Scanned signature of the candidate (in JPG format).Online payment detail of the required application fee
- Guidelines for scanning the Photograph & Signature:
Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications are given below:
- Photograph: The photograph of the applicant must be a recent passport size colour photograph. The photograph should be in colour, against a light-coloured preferably white background. Caps, hats and dark glasses etc. are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover the face of the applicant. Size of file should be between 20 KB–100 KB – Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 100 KB.Signature: The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black ink pen. The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person. If the Applicant’s signature on the application form does not match during document verification and/ or at the time of Interview etc., the applicant will be disqualified. Size of file should be between 10 KB – 50 KB – Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50 KB.
Application Fee:
- The application fee for General/OBC category Rs. 2,000/-.
- For SC/ST category Rs. 500/-
- Fees shall be paid on-line at the time of submission of application form. The application fee is required to be remitted online only. Any other mode of payment is not acceptable.
- Please make sure that the Transaction number; amount is captured in your application form after submitting online fees.
- Please make sure to get the confirmation of the successful payment by your bank and retain the proof of the same which may be required at the time of interview.
- Fee once remitted will not be refunded.
- For PwD category application fee is exempted.

Terms& Conditions:
- It is candidates’ responsibility to ascertain, ensure and establish their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience as above. Submission of any false and/or suppression /concealment of facts shall lead to rejection/ cancellation of selection/recruitment of the applicant. Any misinformation detected at any stage will make the candidate liable for legal action deemed fit.
- The candidate who is already in government service shall submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer at the time of Interview or apply through proper channel.
- Self-Attested photocopies of Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste Certificates etc. must be attached and annexed with the copy of the online application and the same shall be produced in original along with photocopy for verification at the time of interview.

- The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection. Except for the department of Translational Medicine, in all other specialities the teaching experience of Medical/Paramedical institution shall be considered.
- The appointment is full time and private practice of any type is strictly prohibited
- The candidate is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the institute employees.
- The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
- In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has wilfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and action taken as deemed fit by the (appointing) competent authority.
- The decision of the AIIMS, Bhopal in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, penalty for false information, mode of selection, conduct of examination(s), allotment of examination centres, selection and allotment of posts/organizations to selected candidates will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry / correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- The offer of appointment to the selected candidate will be provisional and subject to verification of relevant documents/ credentials by the competent authority.
