Faculty of Sociology, School of Social Sciences Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites applications from eligible candidates for two posts (Full-Time, contractual) of Academic Associates in the Discipline of Sociology in School of Social Sciences (SOSS), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Maidan Garhi, New Delhi.
These positions are initially for a period of six months, extendable further as per requirement of the University.
Educational qualifications:
Essential:
Master Degree in Sociology with minimum of 55% marks for general candidates (50% for SC/ST/PH) and NET qualified/ PhD as per UGC guidelines
Desirable
- i) Teaching/Research experience of about 2 years
- ii) Exposure to ODL system, competency in English and Hindi language.
