About the University
Established in 1964 as Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) and formally inaugurated in 1965 by the then Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, ANGRAU has a distinguished legacy in agricultural education and research. The university was renamed in 1996 in honor of Acharya N.G. Ranga, a renowned parliamentarian, freedom fighter, educationist, and champion of farmers.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture (4 years) from ICAR-accredited universities/colleges.

Master’s Degree in Statistics & Computer Applications (2 years) from ICAR-accredited universities/colleges.
Salary Structure
-
₹61,000 + HRA per month for candidates with a Master’s Degree
-
₹67,000 + HRA per month for candidates with a Ph.D. Degree
