Modeling the Nature of Active Sites in Molten Metal Halide Catalyst for COx-free Production of H₂ from Methane Pyrolysis

Employment Type

Temporary – One Year Contract
(Starting January 1, 2026)

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in one of the following disciplines:

Chemical Engineering
Chemistry
Physics
Material Science

Required Skills

Strong background in Catalysis
Experience with Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations (preferably VASP, CP2K)
Good programming skills in C/C++ or Fortran, and Linux shell scripting
Familiarity with High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments

IIT Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Salary

₹58,000/- per month + 18% HRA
(as per institute norms)
