Position Overview

The Assistant / Associate Director – Marketing and Admissions at NAMTECH will play a pivotal leadership role in driving the institute’s marketing and admissions functions. The role focuses on student recruitment, brand building, and strategic communication of NAMTECH’s mission, vision, and academic strengths across India and globally.

The incumbent will be responsible for achieving enrollment targets while positioning NAMTECH as a leading institution in Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, and Sustainability Education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing and admissions strategies aligned with NAMTECH’s institutional goals.

  • Oversee end-to-end admissions operations, ensuring an efficient and student-friendly process.

  • Lead institutional communication initiatives across outreach, digital marketing, content, social media, and partner platforms.

  • Mentor and manage the marketing and admissions teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence.

  • Collaborate with faculty, academic leaders, and external partners to highlight NAMTECH’s academic and industry strengths.

  • Drive national and international brand promotion through traditional and digital media.

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Oversee creation of impactful marketing content showcasing program outcomes, placements, and research contributions.

  • Build and sustain partnerships with academic counselors, feeder institutions, and industry stakeholders.

  • Manage scholarship communication and outreach to attract top talent and underrepresented groups.

  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and diversity goals while maintaining data accuracy and transparency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferably from a reputed higher-education or not-for-profit institution in India).

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within higher education admissions and marketing.

  • Key Competencies:

    • Proven expertise in admissions and marketing leadership, preferably in engineering or technology programs.

    • Strong understanding of advanced manufacturing, sustainability, and emerging technologies.

    • Experience in pan-India student recruitment and understanding of regional dynamics.

    • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-channel campaigns and manage diverse teams.

    • Proficiency in CRM platforms, admissions systems, and digital outreach tools.
