Guest Faculty

Departments with Vacancies:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Physics with Ph.D./NET in Physics

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Physics from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

  • Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or any equivalent test accredited by UGC.

  • Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Physics in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and subsequent amendments are exempted from NET.

  • The qualification for Guest Faculty shall be at par with the minimum qualification for Assistant Professors in Universities as per UGC Regulations, 2018.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a B.Ed. degree will be given preference.

Pay Scale:

Honorarium: ₹1,500/- per lecture (subject to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month)
