🌿 About the University
Established on 12th June 1964 at Hyderabad, the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) has played a pioneering role in agricultural education and research. It was formally inaugurated on 20th March 1965 by Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
Another historic moment came when Late Smt. Indira Gandhi inaugurated the university’s building programme on 23rd June 1966.
To honour the legacy of Acharya N. G. Ranga—a visionary leader, parliamentarian, educationist, farmer’s champion, and freedom fighter—the university was renamed Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) on 7th November 1996.

📘 Eligibility Criteria

Ph.D. in the relevant discipline OR

B.Tech / M.Tech in the relevant field with relevant experience
⏳ Tenure of Appointment
11 months from the date of joining or until the position is filled on a regular basis — whichever is earlier.
💰 Remuneration
-
₹61,000/- + HRA per month for Master’s Degree holders

₹67,000/- + HRA per month for Ph.D. Degree holders
