Job Title: Temporary Teaching Assistant

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (without grace marks or rounding off) in Prakrit, Pali & Apabhransh from a recognized Indian university or an equivalent foreign university.

  • Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or similar exam like SLET/SET, OR hold a Ph.D. as per UGC rules.

Exemptions for Ph.D. Candidates:

  • Candidates who registered for Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 are exempt from NET/SLET/SET if they meet the following:
    a) Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
    b) Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners.
    c) Viva-voce conducted.
    d) Published at least two research papers (one in a refereed journal).
    e) Presented at least two papers in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR sponsored conferences/seminars.

  • Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 (QS, THE, ARWU rankings) are also eligible.

Pay Scale: ₹45,000/- per month (Consolidated)
