Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2024: Comprehensive Information for Aspirants
The Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) has officially announced the Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2024. This exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates aspiring to become teachers at the elementary level in Tripura.
About T-TET 2024:
The exam will be held in two papers:
- Paper-I: For teaching Class I to V.
- Paper-II: For teaching Class VI to VIII.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Paper-I (Classes I to V):
Candidates must meet any one of the following:
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (45% marks) with a 2-year Diploma (as per NCTE 2002).
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII):
Candidates must meet any one of the following:
- Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation (50% marks) and B.Ed.
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) and 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.El.Ed.
- Post-Graduation (55% marks) and 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
- Note: A relaxation of 5% in marks is applicable for SC/ST/PH candidates.

- Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.
- OMR sheets must be filled using a black ballpoint pen.
Application Process:
- Visit the official TRBT website: www.trb.tripura.gov.in.
- Register and fill out the online application form.
- Upload a scanned photograph (up to 100 KB) and signature (up to 60 KB).
- Pay the application fee:
- General/UR: ₹300
- SC/ST/PH: ₹200
- Submit and finalize the application before the deadline.
Admit Card:
- Download the admit card from 2nd April 2025 to 16th April 2025.
- Candidates must bring the admit card and a valid photo ID (Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.) to the exam center.

Key Instructions for Aspirants:
- Arrive at the exam venue 90 minutes early.
- Carry only essential items: Admit Card, Photo ID, and black ballpoint pen.
- Electronic devices, books, and bags are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
- Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates requiring scribes must notify TRBT in advance.
Result and Certification:
- Candidates scoring 60% (90/150) or more will be considered qualified.
- A relaxation of 5% will be provided for SC/ST/PH candidates.
- The T-TET certificate will be valid for a lifetime.
