Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) conducts MAHA TET i.e. Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test to determine the eligibility of candidates who want to become teachers for the schools of Maharashtra. It is conducted at two levels- Paper 1 (for Primary Classes 1-5) and Paper 2 (for Upper Primary Classes 6-8).

Candidates who wish to become teachers can apply for both papers. The recruitment body will release the official notification inviting candidates for the MAHA TET 2022 in the due course of time. On the other hand, MAHA TET 2022 has been scheduled for October 31, 2022, in 2 shifts. The MAHA TET Shift 1 which is for Class 1 – 5, will start from 10.30 AM to 1.00 PM while the exam timing for Shift 2 is From 2.00 PM to 04.30 PM for the applicants of Class 6 to 8.

MAHA TET Notification 2022

The Maharashtra State Council of Examination releases the MAHA TET notification in August in the respective year of the examination. MAHA TET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The MAHA TET Eligibility Criteria 2022 has not been released yet. Till the release of the official notification, candidates can follow the eligibility criteria of the last year i.e. 2022. Not many changes are expected in the eligibility criteria so candidates can follow last year data for the same.

Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for MAHA TET to sit in the exam. The eligibility criteria have two components:

Candidates aspiring to become teachers upon the qualification of the MAHA TET Examination should possess the following educational qualifications.

How to Fill MAHA TET Application Form 2022?

It is advisable to all candidates that only after checking the eligibility criteria, one should apply for the exam. MAHA TET Application Form submitted via online mode shall be considered and will be able to appear in the exam. Candidates can follow the following steps to fill the application form for MAHA TET Exam.

Step 1: MAHA TET Registration Process

First, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of the exam. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Visit the Official Website- www.mahatet.in
  2. Look for the notification displaying new registration. Click on it.
  3. Fill in all the necessary details in the registration form like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Contact number, Email Id etc.
  4. Click on Submit.
  5. Note down the system-generated registration ID and Password.

 

Step 2: MAHA TET Application Form

In the next step, candidates need to fill up the application form for MAHA TET with the help of the following steps:

  1. Log in with the registration ID and Password on the MAHA TET Official website.
  2. Fill in all the necessary information in the application form such as educational details, preference for exam cities etc.
  3. Now, candidates need to upload the scanned images of their signature and passport-sized photograph of the candidate.
  4. Preview the application form and make required corrections if any.

Step 3: MAHA TET Application Fee

In the last step, candidates need to make a payment of the application fee to finally submit their application form. Candidates can follow the following steps to make the payment of the application fees:

Important Guidelines for MAHA TET 2022:-

The candidates applying for the MAHA TET 2022 must know some important guidelines beforehand. Some of the important guidelines are:

  1. The candidate needs to carry the admit card to the exam venue on the day of the examination.
  2. Candidates should also carry one Identity Proof (PAN Card/Aadhar Card/Driving License/Passport) and two passport size photographs at the examination venue.
  3. Use of Electronic items such as mobile phones, calculators etc. is permitted inside the examination centre.
  4. Strict action will be taken against candidates who do not follow the guidelines on the examination day.
